Understanding the Newsletter Employee Activity Log

The Employee Activity Log helps you track newsletter events that occurred with each employee and each issue. These events are:

  • Bounced. The employee's email address would not or could not accept the newsletter.
  • Clicked. The employee clicked on a link in the newsletter. 
  • Deferred. The employee's email server requested our system to delay sending the newsletter and try again on a different time.
  • Delivered. The newsletter was successfully sent to the employee's email address.
  • Dropped. Our system will drop a newsletter if the email address continuously blocks the newsletter issues from being sent out.
  • Opened. Recorded when an employee opens the newsletter.
  • Processed. The newsletter is currently being processed by the system.
  • Spam reported. An employee marked a newsletter as spam email.
  • Unsubscribed. An employee has unsubscribed from the newsletter. This does not affect other newsletters being sent out, and the employee can still receive other newsletters unless she/he/they also unsubscribe from those as well.

How to access the Newsletter Employee Activity Log

Only Owners/Admins can access this feature.

    1. Go to www.admin.sparrowconnected.com
    2. Choose your account type (Microsoft Work Account, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft Personal Account or ADFs)
    3. Login using your credentials. You'll be redirected to your Intranet Lite Homepage.
    4. Click on the wrench icon, or expand the menu (located on the left side of your screen) and click on "Go to Admin Portal"
    5. Access Newsletters directly from the dashboard, or go to Messaging Center > Newsletters on the left navigation pane
    6. Go to More Options Employee Activity Log
