Release Notes - March 16, 2022

Feature Improvements:

  • Updated Users & Permissions screen to include:
    • New users screen that displays account state, role, activity and last login date
    • Ability to choose how many rows to display (10, 25, 50, or 100)
  • Updated insights on user accounts:
    • Total users which displays the total number of activated accounts
    • Deactivated users displays the number of deactivated accounts
    • Engaged users in the last 30 days displays how many users have logged in and viewed content in the last 30 days
    • Social users displays the number of social login accounts that are activated
    • Pending social invited users displays the number of pending invites that have not been accepted
    • User account types chart displays the number of users per each type of account
    • Preferred channel displays which channels users are consuming content on
    • Behaviour chart displays what times of the day are users viewing and engaging with content (Displayed in Mountain Standard Time)
  • Updated the Manager User Invites screen to include:
    • Ability to resend or all pending invites
    • Search field for finding a specific invite to resend or cancel
  • Updated the screen for creating new Sparrow accounts
  • Added a User Management Activity log that allows administrators to track modifications and changes to user accounts.
    • Included search and filtering capabilities to narrow down activities and who made the changes
  • Updated the individual user profile screen to include pronouns and a bio field
  • Added a dropdown for assigning permissions to a user instead of toggles
  • Backend stability improvements

Bug fixes:

  • Post editor was not displaying or missing the editing icons in SharePoint
  • After saving an anchor tag, it was being removed and not functioning
  • Event images not loading when viewing an event in MS Teams
  • Multi-day event cards not updating after current event is over
  • All day events would change start time to the previous day depending on time zone
  • Editing a featured post removed the feature banner
  • Breaking news timer in MS Teams and SharePoint could only be set for 72 hours
  • Searching was case sensitive and returned no results if there was a trailing space
  • Apple social user accounts were not able to accept a new invite and login
  • Header and footer images were not displayed when editing a newsletter issue
  • "Comments enabled on posts" tenant configuration was not being respected in MS Teams
  • Authors unable to view post insights
  • Submission managers were not receiving notifications in MS Teams when a contributor submitted a post from SharePoint
  • Sparrow accounts could not be deleted
  • Newsletters allowed non-image file types to be uploaded to the header and footer
  • Updated documents were not showing as "recently updated"
  • Newsletter unsubscribe link loaded a page stating it was unavailable
  • Changing event RSVPs in bulk resulted in an error
  • Removed "Attachment Only" filter for documents from the user portal
  • Saving a new draft for a post resulted in an error and unable to save
  • Discarding the draft of a post in Admin Portal deleted the post
  • Email address for social user accounts should be read-only
  • Could not search "Uncategorized" in category tags
