What is a public post? What is a public feed?

Public posts are similar to standard posts except they generate a URL that can be shared on external platforms like social media  and accessed anonymously. When a user clicks the URL, they will be redirected to the post on the Company Portal.

Anyone can share public posts using the share icon (Connection, send, share, sharing icon - Download on Iconfinder) on their Sparrow feeds and posts.

This post type can be used for news, announcements, public releases, and other information that your organization wants to share with the general public.

You can set a post as Public in the Post Type dropdown shown when creating or editing a post. Learn more about the basics of post authoring/publishing.

The Public Feed is a curated list of your organization's public posts. Any user has access to your public feed. 🚧 Your organization's public feed is available via the Company Portal (Intranet Lite) web app or your organization's White Label App.

Here's a shareable guide on how to use the Sparrow Connected mobile app (generic or branded) as a guest.
