Release Notes - August 10, 2023

Improvements:

  • In the post and event management screens, we updated the "Author" column to "Published By" which will now reflect the name of the person that last published the content instead of any custom other or department names.

  • In newsletters, we've added the ability to include custom body and footer text for custom templates. Anyone using custom templates can now add customizable content to each newsletter.

  • Newsletters also received an additional setting allowing Administrators to choose how they want posts sorted. When choosing the number of unread posts to include in a newsletter, there is now a dropdown to also selected "Oldest first" or "Newest first".

  • Topic filters in the Company Portal, Teams, and SharePoint got an upgrade to include the number of posts and/or events for each topic. This allows users to see if there are topics that have no content and being returned no results.

  • User profile sync was also enhanced to expand beyond only supporting all lowercase email addresses. Should your HRIS export contain email addresses with mixed upper and lower casing, removing the need to transform or edit the email column prior to import.

  • Smart Audiences received an upgrade to expand the character limit from 50 to 10,000. This enables Admins to create long and more complex queries using the "equals to ANY" option for building your Smart Audiences.

  • We updated some text on the Post Insights page to provide more clarity. "Engagement" has now be changed to "Interactions" to remove confusion between the interactions and engaged users.

Bug fixes:


Admin Portal

  • Fixed - Manage topics screen had a max width constraint in the topic title column which resulted in longer topic names to wrap onto multiple lines instead of extending into the available white space on the screen.

  • Fixed - In Newsletters, when saving a theme, clicking the "Manage Themes" button did not load the "Manage Themes" modal.

  • Fixed - Topics filter in the events management screen was not loading the topics until refreshing page.

  • Fixed - When creating or editing a post and setting the featured news end date, clicking on the month year dropdown resulted in only displaying the current year. The full calendar and months are now displayed. Featured posts have a max end date of 14 days in the future. Any dates outside of that will be in an inactive state and cannot be selected.

  • Fixed - Filtering by published date in the post and event management screens did not respect the selected end date and returned posts up to today's date.
