Author Permissions - Customizing
You can customize the permissions of a user depending on the role you assign them. For Authors, you can decide which Authors can publish to certain topics, and which authors can reach certain audiences.
Setting these content creation permissions and assigning specific topics will hide all other topics from an Author when they are creating new content.
- Go to the Users & Permissions
- Search and select the user
- On the user's profile, click on View Permissions
- In the drawer, assign the user with the Author role
- Under Content Creation permissions, you can specify the topics that an author can select when they are creating content.
- Hit Save
The Author will only be able to create and publish content using topics they have access to, and will only be able to target audiences attached to the topics they used.
